Remote Control Bucket Wheel Excavator | 3970pcs
A rotating bucket wheel and long conveyor distinguish this excavator from a conventional boom-and-bucket machine. The yellow-and-blue superstructure sits on tracks, recreating the continuous digging layout used in large open-cast mining equipment. Building the 3970pcs model involves the wheel, belt and supporting structure as well as the tracked chassis. Included power and remote control equipment bring movement to the finished assembly. Use small loose building pieces to demonstrate the material-handling concept, keeping the model on a stable surface. At almost a metre long in its shown configuration, it needs a substantial display area.

Now that's a wheel with ambition
A rotating bucket wheel feeds a long conveyor above this yellow-and-blue tracked machine. The large assembly combines wheel, belt and structural work, with included power and remote control equipment adding movement.
Follow the material-handling layout
The conveyor, bucket wheel and cab define this continuous-digging machine's distinctive arrangement.
Conveyor structure
The long conveyor structure carries the material-handling route away from the wheel and across the model.
The bucket-wheel assembly
Buckets arranged around the wheel create a continuous digging assembly rather than a conventional single shovel.
A furnished operator cab
A furnished operator cab adds a smaller interior detail beside the large conveyor and wheel structures.
