A deep lens barrel, raised viewfinder and dense pattern of top-plate controls give this miniature camera the character of a photographer's favourite DSLR. The stepped body and curved grip turn a familiar piece of equipment into a compact display piece, with enough contrasting details to reward a closer look after it reaches the shelf.
The front is built around the lens and its printed setting rings. On top, dial markings, shutter-button details and a small flash symbol break up the dark bodywork; an opening rear section adds another view of the model's construction. The different control shapes, surface textures and opening panel give each side of the camera its own detail.
This is a decorative camera model and does not take photographs. It uses mini bricks, which are smaller than standard building bricks, so the finished piece stays compact while retaining its little controls and panel lines. Display it beside photographs, camera equipment or other objects that tell the story of a hobby.
