1:8 scale is the largest format we build in — an eighth the size of the real car, and the ratio where every detail has room to exist. Panel gaps, interior stitching and mechanical detail all read clearly here rather than being simplified away. It's the scale where a build stops looking like a model and starts looking like a scaled-down version of the actual car. You'll see it written 1:8, 1/8, or just "1 8 scale" depending where you're searching from — it's all the same thing.

Kits in this range typically run from around 2,500 pieces up to 5,500+ for our most ambitious builds, with finished models commonly landing in the 55-60cm length range. Most 1:8 builds include remote control, and many add functional extras like electric doors, working suspension, or opening panels.
